Photo bioreactors


The photo bioreactors were developed and made ready for series production in cooperation between IGV Institut für Getreideverarbeitung GmbH (IGV), BISANTECH NUOVA GmbH & Co KG (BISANTECH) and B. Braun Biotech International GmbH (BBI).
BBI has the exclusive, world-wide distribution for this unique programme of photo bioreactors.

The first digit of the type designation indicates the standard useful volume, the second digit describes the possible extension of the useful volume.
The digital control used on all reactor sizes ensures sure process management. The central data entry and process visualisation (process control technology) is envisaged as a standard feature.
The following areas of use for the cultivation of phototropic micro-organisms or cell cultures result depending on the size of the measuring technology equipment of the photo bioreactor.
